Running into an error while uploading your documents? Don’t worry—your PDF may just need a little attention. Find the error you’re seeing below, and we’ll help you get things back on track!
📏 PAGE SIZE ERROR
“THE PAGE SIZE OF THIS DOCUMENT IS TOO LARGE. PLEASE ADJUST THE SIZE OF YOUR DOCUMENT TO A STANDARD LETTER SIZE PDF AND THEN UPLOAD.”
What it means:
This error is about the dimensions of your document, not the file size. PeachCourt documents should be standard letter size (8.5″ × 11″).
The easiest fix?
Use Print to PDF to create a new PDF in standard letter size, then upload the newly created file.
🐘 FILE TOO LARGE
“HEADS UP! THE FILE YOU’RE TRYING TO UPLOAD IS TOO LARGE FOR OUR SYSTEM TO PROCESS. PLEASE UPLOAD A FILE SMALLER THAN 100 MB TO CONTINUE. IF YOU NEED HELP COMPRESSING OR SPLITTING YOUR FILE, FEEL FREE TO REACH OUT TO OUR SUPPORT TEAM.”
What it means:
Your PDF may simply be a little too hefty!
Here are the file-size limits to keep in mind:
- 25 MB maximum per individual document
- 75 MB maximum for the entire filing
The fix:
Give those files a little trim if they’re over the limit, then try uploading again. Your filing—and our servers—will thank you! 😄
🔒 LOCKED OR ENCRYPTED PDF
“THIS FILE SEEMS TO BE LOCKED OR ENCRYPTED OR IN A BAD MOOD. PLEASE TRY AGAIN AFTER YOU REMOVE ANYTHING THAT PREVENTS US FROM OPENING YOUR DOCUMENT.”
Yes, even PDFs have bad moods sometimes. 😂
What it means:
Your document may be password-protected, locked, or encrypted, which prevents PeachCourt from opening and processing the file.
The fix:
Remove the password protection or encryption, save the updated PDF, and give that upload another try!
