  • Once I submit my filing, how long does it take the clerk’s office to accept it?

Now this is the ultimate $5 question.

Immediately upon submission, PeachCourt delivers your filing to the clerk’s office for review. The clerk’s office is alerted by email that they have a filing that needs some attention.

Once the clerk’s office reviews your filing and decides to accept or reject it, you will be immediately notified via email.

How long does the review process take? The best answer is “it depends”.

It depends on when you submit the filing and if the office is open. It depends on how busy the clerk’s office is on that particular day.

If you have a filing that is pending acceptance and you want to know when it will be accepted, the best thing to do is call the clerk’s office. After all, they are the gatekeeper!
