📄 Which filings exactly are mandatory? O.C.G.A. § 15-6-11(b)
For cases initiated on and after January 1, 2019, attorneys are required to eFile in Superior and State Courts in Georgia.
💲 What are the fees? O.C.G.A. § 15-6-11(b)(2)(A)
For mandatory eFiling cases, the eFiling fee is an initial $30 per filer, per party in the case. After 10 eFiling submissions (regardless of the number of documents in each submission) have been made on behalf of a party after the initial $30 has been paid, the cost for the 11th and subsequent eFilings on behalf of that party into that same case will be $5 each.

eFiling is permitted, but not required, in the following situations:

- Any case initiated before January 1, 2019
- Any case involving a pauper’s affidavit
- Any case involving a bond validation
- Any case involving a temporary protective order
- Any filing involving ex parte or in camera information
