Pro Tips for Civil eFiling

Bibb State:
Cases initiated before August 1, 2016, have 5-digit case numbers. 

Brantley Superior:
This Office does not send Proposed Orders or Motions to the Judge.

Chattooga Superior:
The clerk’s office does not accept eFiled proposed orders.

Cobb State:
When searching for a case with 3 or more digits at the end of the case number, include dashes. For cases with fewer than 3 digits at the end of the case number, do not include dashes.

PeachCourt includes garnishment cases only for 2018 and later.

Cobb Superior:
The clerk’s office does not accept eFiled proposed orders.

Columbia Superior:
Executed (signed) orders can be eFiled only by the signing judge or that judge’s designee. Attorneys may present executed orders to the clerk’s office in person for filing.

Coweta Superior:
The clerk will assess a fee of $0.50 per page for any eFiling that includes more than 50 pages. This fee is separate from the sheriff’s service packet fee.

Fayette Superior:
A contempt case will receive a case number similar to the original (related) case number, plus a letter designation at the end.

Executed (signed) orders can be eFiled only by the signing judge or that judge’s designee. Attorneys may present executed orders to the clerk’s office in person for filing.

Lamar Superior:
If the sheriff’s service packet amounts to more than 10 pages, the clerk will require the filer to deliver a paper copy of the service documents to the clerk’s office.

Paulding Superior:
The clerk will assess a fee of $0.50 per page for any eFiling that includes more than 50 pages. This fee is separate from the sheriff’s service packet fee.

Tattnall Superior:
The clerk’s office does not coordinate sheriff’s service. Filers need to deliver service documents directly to the sheriff’s office.

Worth Superior:
The fee for preparing the sheriff’s service packet is $1.00 per page.

File-Stamped Documents?
